I had the exact opposite experience. Fired it up after about 3 years, knowing I’d be going in with initial guilt from perceived reaction of my residents. What I found however, was a town that felt like seeing an old friend that you resume a conversation as if no time had passed. Cannot wait for next month.

PS4 version approved my friend. Probably happened when you typed your comment honestly. As of this writing, it's over 600% funded. Don't know I've ever seen anything get backed that quickly. Great game too!

Crisis Social Worker here (10+ years). I can say society is absolutely doing a better job implementing best practices for people like Mr. West (generally starting with a Housing First model), but half of the issue is the buy-in from the client themselves. Autonomy and right to self-determination are a hell of a thing

Nintendo was actually ahead of the trend during the NES era with the Hands-free controller (an actual first party option if I’m not mistaken). Not as advanced as the adaptive of course, but I agree it would be great to see more of this in the mainstream. There are some folks who have 3D printed one-handed Joy Con

And here I told myself I wouldn’t cry today.

X is the one that kills me. An entire arsenal of armor and weapons regular MM could never use.

FOR REAL. Also implicates all of the other character costumes as well...

Im having trouble finding a negative to this.

So I live in Milwaukee, and Froedtert is seen as one of the best hospitals in Wisconsin, period. Horrible if they ignored this poor woman. I know its not unique to Milwaukee, but the increase in homeless/benefit-less people has caused our ERs a lot of unnecessary grief.

Oh boy is Harley struggling right now. The culture is prevalent and super important, but they're not selling like they used to.

Please, dear God! Giannis is all we have in Milwaukee besides crime and racism (And the Bronze Fonz... eyyyyyyyyyyy)

I feel like the WiiU is Nintendo's Dreamcast. Sold poorly, but dearly beloved.

I worked GameStop at the time of its launch, and it was a disaster. Lots of folks thought it was an add-on, and the lack of focus was apparent.

Holy crap the Vita was a missed opportunity in the west. Love the thing. Hell, were still getting new physical Indies on it from sites like Limited Run.

Wii at least had the phonetics to sound like “We”, which was great in their commercials and really hit home the local multiplayer aspect.

Im still wondering why we're getting this and not Bravely Third. We were left on bit of a cliffhanger in Bravely Second

You've got an eye on some great titles! All valid reasons to pick one up. As some others may have said, definitely consider how you're going to use the Switch too. If you're primarily handheld, the Lite solves some of your joycon concerns. Definitely get a pro controller if you plan on the standard model. Im usually a

If you're not sure as a mutliplat gamer, then focus on what is exclusive. Nintendo does Nintendo best, and their first party offerings are top notch. Switch has also turned me, personally, into an indie snob. Probably the best selection of quality indie outside of the PC scene.

Hey, it's the 5th best selling handheld of all time after all! Interested to see if this holiday season puts a dent in any remaining sales.

I think it’s fair to say they’ve gotten their groove back specifically in terms of overall sales. As of 9/30, they hit almost 42 million Switch(es) sold I would expect the number to be well over 50 million by it’s 3rd birthday, which is pretty damn insane. I mean, it took PS4 6 years to hit 100 million sold, and IF
