Pretty much hit the nail on the head with this. Some of these first edition NES games come with subtle nuances make them extremely rare. Some people say nowadays they are the equivalent of owning a Superman #1 based on low initial launch numbers, and only being in test markets like New York.

Reminds me of my time at GameStop. I remember helping switch out an old computer (maybe 2015ish) with a manufacture date of 2000. Only replaced out of necessity.

Holy cow, I never realized it was only $50 million. Even by 2000 standards, I feel like that would have been a drop in the bucket for Blockbuster.

Same goes for Netflix too if I'm not mistaken. What could have been...

More obtuse problem solving too. It's actually worth multiple playthroughs to find alternative ways to solve the same puzzles.

Am I the only one who saw Snoop when glancing at this thumbnail?

Seriously, anyone who likes 2D Metroid would love A Robot Named Fight. Randomized seeds and tight gameplay make this a must have IMO.

He’s your ‘git gud’ buddy!

Damn you.

Had the same outlook until my 6 year old discovered level creation. Her enthusiasm was infectious even if we’ve only made hot garbage.

Can you confirm this is the NTSC version? Amazon hasn’t been the best in selling/specifying games from the correct region lately.

I agree wholeheartedly with your first paragraph. Just seems there are other/similar products out there complete for half the price. And I do love me some Vita (RIP).

Is $160 a good price based on its capability?

To be fair, Sega has had some pretty shoddy attempts at a genesis mini with AtGames the last few years. This time they look to be absolutely killing it. Great lineup.

I think MS is doing themselves a disservice by not counting total sales anymore. Sure, it won’t touch the PS4, but they’ve had some pretty strong holiday sales.

I think the games you mentioned definitely did it better out of the gate (at least as far as content). The red flag for Anthem (for me) was the 90-day ‘roadmap’ that keeps getting pushed back. I have no problem paying for extra content, but then at least make the base game free, or at a significant discount to

I really, really hope Anthem is the tipping point for live-service games going away (or at least not being as grindy, predatory, or incomplete experiences).

You have some excellent games to catch up on my friend.

Definitely make sure you give Baba the time (when you can). Few puzzle games have made me feel like and absolute genius and a complete moron. Absolutely worth the price of admission.

I purchased the year sub out of the gate, and it's not terrible for the price, but I totally agree. I'd gladly give them $5-10 per game for stuff I actually want (a la a proper Virtual Console)
