I should have added *new titles not withstanding. I loved DKCTF having all of those characters.
Its common for that damn owl in Zelda games almost exclusively.
Opinion! Water levels in 3 were awful.
I was convinced with the release of My Nintendo we’d be getting dedicated accounts for stuff like this finally, but I suppose it would be easier for them to do next-gen instead of integrating it to current.
I thought each DKC was better than the last, but it still bothers me to this day, that Donkey is only playable in the first one ...
I don’t disagree with you, but don’t deny the N3DS does actually have more horsepower. Some more recent releases are showing the discrepancy of performance between models (for better or worse).
If you liked 1, you’ll like 2. Played a bit of the Japanese version (with partial translation guide), and it seems like SE listened to fan’s criticisms of the first game.
Patent documents are more a proof-of concept. The WiiU Gamepad even had changes not long after it was first revealed (certain button locations, proper joysticks vs. 3ds-style sliders). I’m definitely thinking Nintendo has been protective of system specs for this reason and hasn’t finalized design yet. Of course,…
It’s actually a little more than Ep 7 for this one. There will be an epilogue to Return of the Jedi included that covers some characters and planets that TT was allowed to include in the new official cannon.
Oh man, after replaying Yellow last week, some of the exits/alternate routes (like on the S.S. Anne) aren’t even close to being marked properly. And its been a decade since I’ve played and I’ve beaten the OG games plenty of times! Gettin old man...
Remember Nintendo has been the only company to do full backwards-compatibility their last 3 consoles. Not saying NX will have it, but if they plop for the WiiU, maybe the games and accessories could carry over too (fingers-crossed).
These guys do CIB repros and hacks. Pricey but awesome.
I... just learned a lot. Thanks! (and I’m being legit here, had no idea about the low output power).
Oh I fiddled with the settings like a madman (and it was in a basement at the time). I’m thinking it was mostly the TV, but it was just plain dark. Still loved the heck out of it (what I could see).
The one I was using (at the time) was fairly old, but I never had to futz with the contrast and brightness like that before. Still one of my favorite versions.
Those lighting effects make a world of difference. I don’t remember if it was my TV at the time, but the game was so dark in spots, it was almost unplayable.
I think its more in-line with whether or not things can get away without being spoiled anymore. Last year had some pretty awesome bombs dropped at E3, so who knows?
Heayahhhhh!
I’ve got a feeling given their track record of secrecy, their hardware specs have something to do directly with whatever gameplay gimmick they have up their sleeve (which as the potential patents have shown, something like a screened controller, etc.)
