Capcom, Konami, and Ubisoft were also 3 of the top (respected) 3rd party developers in 2005. Absolute shame what they’ve become.

They actually patched the gamepad to work with the Japanese and European download version of Xenoblade I guess. I can’t imagine it would be terribly difficult to do the same for the pro controller compatible games.

weirdly mesmerizing...

The older and more depressed I get, I love going to Green Bay bars when I get the chance. These stupid Milwaukee bars with their hipster barista beardfuckers and goddamn rock music.

I totally hear ya. I honestly don’t see myself making a ton of levels, but I am interested to see what type of meta-games folks create with this many tools at their disposal. Honestly the smartest usage of the WiiU to date too.

can’t wait to make flying phallic chain-chomp monster machines.

Dude, I’m knocking on 30, and despite MGSV, SW Battlefront, and a couple of other non-Nintendo stuff, this may easily be my own GOTY. Cannot freaking wait.

Yes, but what about playing the levels others create? You’d be paying $60 for thousands and thousands of levels over time. Sounds like a deal to me considering you could only play Mario levels previously anyway.

I died a little inside when that truck destroyed it. Gotta admit tho, that was one of the most perfect scenes in the entire show. George looked so dammed determined and confident.

“It takes a Village”

Like a sir, HawkEye. Well done.

Could always sell your Mother Base on eBay.

And collecting their decapitated heads. That game was eerily dark in some places. Like mixing Care Bears with Halo.

We certainly did have it lucky! The amount of content Square put out before the Enix acquisition was incredible.

I do think her being able to play a mainline FF title as a teen would be pretty cool. FF7-10 came out in my middle-school thru high-school years, and I was glued to them.

They’ve been dropping the ball the last 5+ years. They announce or tease their biggest franchises, make us wait a decade, and re-release their old shit on mobile. My daughter was born when Versus XIII was announced. I legitimately wonder what will happen sooner, the release of XV, or my daughter entering middle

I think they’re offering two emulation modes too (forget where I read it), one that mimics the NES slowdown and flicker, and one that runs more smoothly. I think these might be based off of the PS1 re-releases from Japan (that had a remix mode too like switching weapons automatically without having to go into a menu)

Hell, even just Legends 1 and 2 for PS1 classics would be amazing. Too bad Capcom sucks.

Glad you recommend it, but disappointed it doesn’t sound more inspired despite astounding aesthetics. Yoshi’s Island gameplay mechanics are top-notch, but it seems like nothing will ever quite hold a candle to the original.

I thought Ensemble had already been disbanded (planned ahead) before the title was even finished. I know the end credits for the game had the company thanking their fans, which (at the time) made me think they already knew they were done.
