Well they are releasing the Squid outfits for Mii’s, but it seems there are a handful of open character slots Nintendo wants to fill...

Splatoon, Harmoknight, Pushmo series, Dillons Rolling Western series, Rusty’s real deal baseball, and steel diver are just a few I can think of off the top of my head (and I know there are more) they’ve introduced since 2011. Do they get/deserve the same fanfare as Mario/Pokemon/Zelda? Probably not, but new

So is it fair to say that this game does for shooters, to what MarioKart did for racing? Like it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but makes it a hell of a lot more fun is the impression I’m getting.

Yeah, but it sounds like they’re going to support fresh content constantly too though. From what I’ve read/heard/whatever, some will be free, and some just straight up DLC. The way Nintendo has explored add-on content has been pretty great, so I’m optimistic for more.

This is definitely the biggest new IP they’ve backed in a while, but they’ve had at least 15-20 new IPs since 2011.

Part of me wishes that if Universal wants to facilitate Nintendo attractions, that they just open a whole damn park dedicated to it. Also, Nintendo has a goofy history with Universal... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal…

I bet there’s enough real-estate in the inside casing for at least the video cables, but the AC still has that brick in the middle. Either way, I just wish I was saavy enough to make it so.

Like the handle of Gamecube! Part of me wished it had retractable cables so you could literally carry the entire functioning console (minus controller) in one fell swoop.

It will be sooooooo worth the wait.

Oh I’m totally excited for Xeno X, and Mario Maker (in particular), but E3 is all about the new reveals that make me the most impatient person on the planet.

As much as I hate to admit it, I’d still buy the shit out of that.

More well known developers will leave their companies to kickstart their own games which are reskinned games they made for said companies.

They had supposedly divided up the team a bit when DKCTF was in development. I am optimistic. And seriously, with Zelda being delayed, Nintendo needs to WOW us big time.

THE LAST GUARDIAN. Gamestop has had my $5 pre-order since 2011

I think the biggest difference (even if the TV shows are better), will always be merchandising.

Just got into an argument with a dad yesterday since I wouldn’t turn on our store’s kiosks to let his kids play. I was trying to explain there was some faulty wiring (which was true), and in that time dad was getting more upset while his kids were slamming the WiiU gamepad against the display. Kiosks are today’s

I’ve been whispering “ARRIGHT” to my co-workers for the last half-hour. Thanks!

You sound like most people from Milwaukee (like myself). Cheers!

And it was worth every penny right? Did you get the WW version of the system too?

This system is why I still love Nintendo. They’re always coming outta left field and defy expectation for better or worse.
