I love Inbox and this is all well and good but it would be great if Inbox could act as a client for all my work exchange emial as well. It is infuriating to have two separate workflows, one for exchange servers and one for my gmail.
Cranberry sauce is super easy to make,
I could agree with this, but here’s a thought: just because two things seem related, it doesn’t necessarily mean that one is the direct cause of the other. It could be simply that people are happier when they have time to sleep for 8 hours. I work full time and go to school at night, so it is physically impossible for…
increased size and the number of mitochondria (the “power plants” of the cells).

I don’t think I could survive the shame of having even a fake jar of Miracle Whip in my fridge. I’d rather lose my valuables than have that.
Since the only time this would matter is if there’s enough people waiting for there to be a line behind you, odds are pretty good that you had to wait as well. In which case, maybe while you’re waiting, you could arrange the items in your basket or hands so that they’ll be facing the scanner when it’s your turn?…
More specifically, the scanner can read a barcode that has a direct line of sight to either of two windows on the scanning platform. If it’s having trouble reading a curved or slightly damaged barcode, keeping the item in motion is more effective than leaving it in place. It will register instantly when the proper…
I do that with cans of chipotles in adobo. Who the hell uses a whole can in one recipe? I put them in a baggie, kind of separate out the chilies and freeze it flat and break off one or two lumps as I need them.
My biggest bugaboo right now is that I have default location settings turned off on various web sites and my photographs, but iOS thoughtfully reminds me of this every damned time I open the app or bring up the web pages. I don't give a goddamn, and I hate having to click past the stupid pop-up.
It sounds like the McDonalds that Emma and boyfriend were eating at were being robbed. Like they were in the middle of a robbery. Dude standing there sounds like he had a gun pointed at him.
Oh, come on: surely a gas station or something was open. And if there wasn't, I bet their hotel had a vending machine. And if there wasn't that, you aren't going to die skipping dinner one night.
A DVD Rewinder.
Nah, I'm just kidding. Could you imagine though?
My serious, most recent answer are K-cups for a Keurig machine. It's a waste of plastic that fills your garbage and it's a waste of money. The amount of money I spent for 16 K-cups I could've spent on a regular bag off ground coffee that makes dozens of…
hah! 40? I work with a lot of brilliant geeks and know a ton over 40. They definitely still "get it". I think your perception of people over 40 is skewed by a selection bias. The thing is for current people over 40, most did not have computers as kids. They may have used them the first time in College or later in…
FALSE this is the best water bottle ever, one handed operation, holds a good volume and it fits in a cup holder.

I see the advice to weigh weekly often, but given that weight can fluctuate by several pounds and most people will be shooting for only between 1-3 pounds a week, there is a decent chance that over several weeks you may appear not to be losing or even gaining if you're unlucky on your weigh-in days. Very demotivating.
I'm very sorry that you and the others who've posted have had negative experiences with Indian men in the past. On the other hand, as an Indian man, a feminist, and a regular reader of this site, this discussion makes me wince. Fact: there are shitty and not-so-shitty people out there from every culture and creed.…
This particular thread is so incredibly racist...and I can't believe no one has called you out on it. So allow me.
I'd just add that for not-terribly religious minded folks who are still looking for that sense of community that is supposed to go with belonging to a church, it's worth looking for your local Unitarian Universalist church instead. It took me years to figure out that these folks are much more focused on social justice…
