In terms of the shape, from a styling perspective, there’s no real reason for them to droop that far down IMO. The shape doesn’t resolve, it doesn’t connect to anything, they just sort of protrude from the main headlights by an arbitrary amount. That’s what I meant by aimless.

To be picky, this annoys me (does on the CTS too). The LEDs are just aimless. They don’t attach to the lower grille and don’t fit with the main headlights either. It’s just aimless. Messy.

I know this car is meant to be aimed at the Chinese market, but that doesn’t mean they HAVE to copy a European luxury car!

It was Mark Blundell who did that 1990 LM pole lap, not Martin Brundle.

I'm not denying he got past, just the idea that it's one of the greatest overtakes... In The World.

That's one of the greatest saves, but I wouldn't call it a great pass. The BMW just braked late and kicked Plato up the arse.

This year it's looking like all the LMP1-H cars will have over 1000 horsepower. I can't wait for Le Mans!

Expecting Michael Schumacher to back out like he did is monumentally ballsy at what must've been approaching 200mph. If they'd made contact then, they would've had a plane crash...

Not seen that one before. That was mighty!

Any pass through Eau Rouge is mega!

My favourite single film from TopGear - while it doesn't sum them up particularly - is their Ayrton Senna tribute. Not because of any kind of fanaticism towards Senna, but because it's just so well put together. The balance of information (mercifully not focusing purely on him v Prost), the perfectly-matched

I'm just happy this car ever existed at all, TBH. It's just bonkers! Imagine an S63 AMG GT3...

What was wrong with putting one of the headlights here?

As Martin Brundle would say, he spun off in sympathy.

Yes (although it's from the period when RR and Bentley were joined at the hip), but the horizontal headlights halfway up a dominant vertical grille topped with a chrome mascot reminded me of Lady Penelope's ride, at least my memory of it.

Morgan 3-Wheeler's a front-engine rear-drive British three-wheel car. Single rear.

That Toyota sounds (and looks) glorious. I wish there was a good reason to have small V10 racing engines back again...

What's scary about that compared to these? 700-horsepower muscle cars that weigh a million tonnes ain't no thang next to a Super Snake or a 1500bhp+CanAm car or a rolling chassis with a huge plane engine on it.

It's a mid-engined car that weighs under one ton, has over 500 hp from its twin-charged (turbo and supercharged) four-cylinder, and is designed to race on dirt, snow, and ice. Group B rally cars are certifiably insane, and the Delta S4 embodies that insanity perfectly.

It's amazing to me that this thing was sold legally, and that people actually bought them. And doesn't it make more sense to have a single wheel in the back because, you know, turning?
