Quite possibly, particularly since tungsten is not only very dense but also very hard.

I know we all love hating Tesla, but - I assume everyone realizes that this would have been the outcome with any car with a panoramic glass roof. This is one (one) case where Teslas don’t necessarily suck any worse than any other car.
Porsche 911. It’s been around for 60 friggin’ years; they must be doing something right. (That something being rewriting the laws of physics on a regular basis.)
My stepmom’s got one. It’s not terrible. I guess.
I’ve lived here my whole life (OK, since I was 5) so yeah, I have some idea how it works. What’s your point? Mine was simply that being the 5th largest city in NY doesn’t necessarily mean that much. I don’t know that was going to get under your skin quite so much. Not everything is a personal attack, brah.
Yes, it is legally a city, of course, and not really a small one, but there are several towns in New York that are in fact larger than the city of Syracuse. The Town of Hempstead, for instance, is nearly 5 times as large as Syracuse in population.
Maybe they’re charging a premium ‘cause they don’t sell as many of them. There are certain fixed costs in setting up and running a painting production line for each color, aren’t there?
I dunno, man. When I bought my ‘19 GLI, I wanted Pure Gray (a “color” I’ve received several compliments on, BTW) and the dealer had to bring a car in from out of state.
Please don’t do this, just please don’t. Isn’t there enough bullshit hateful MAGAt dogwhistling to go around?
Yeah, United said they pulled it out of rotation for a deep cleaning... <eyeroll>
And here I thought Bob’s Furniture was just a Lawn Guyland thing.
Why would anyone want to pay for two data plans - one for the phone and one for the car - when Android Auto/CarPlay are so ubiquitous? We’re not all rich, ya know.
Oh look, there’s one person that it’s not perfect for, so I guess it must not be any good for anybody. <eye, roll>
If you don’t need to put your key in the door or the steering column, why would you take it out of your pocket (or purse etc.) anyway?
I’m talking about how the vehicle talks to the Internet. In the usual CP/AA scenario, your phone does that, using your own plan. If this car doesn’t support CP/AA via your phone, then it must have its own cell modem and data plan? Which you have to pay separately for when you’re already paying for a perfectly good one…
How does the no-CarPlay/AndroidAuto thing work? Where does the wireless connectivity come from, and do you have to pay extra for it? IMO it’s so st00pid that you can’t just bring your own phone/plan/apps.
“The pop-out door handles aren’t too fussy to use” You know what would be even less fussy to use? Just plain regular goddamn door handles.
WUZ SHEE HAWT?!?
OK, but at least that gives me an idea of the size. I had an XT5 as a rental once. I don’t think I’d really want anything bigger than that.
Aw look, someone doesn’t like EVs. <sad-face>
