“a better looking, techier version of the XT4” Is it also about that size?

Yeah, I do leave the headlights on auto 99% of the time. But yeah, headlights are something there absolutely ought to be a physical switch for, like by law if necessary. What’s next, are manufacturers going to start putting the horn button in the infotainment system too? Maybe the brakes?
I’m sure you’ve got it all figured out.
Why would it? Opinions are just opinions, and clearly mixed in this case.
NY is not the same. Some towns/counties may limit the maximum amount of the upcharge, but not all.
I totally get this, but some stations have credit upcharges that are just ridiculous. At one place near my office, they charge like 20-25 cents a gallon - for credit or debit. To get the cash price, you actually have to walk up to the register and pay cash. That’s just plain ridiculous. They’re located right next to…
Well, not at the federal level.
That’s arguable. Toyota (Motors) was founded in 1937, at which time Cadillac was still considered pretty top-notch.
A used ‘70s station wagon is totally cool. Room inside for parties!
Safe, reliable, underpowered (but not unsafely so). That’s the best car for a new driver.
He did say once-upon-a-time. Cadillac was “The Standard of the World” back when Toyota was in diapers.
That’s fine, if you define “best” as bulletproof reliability above all else. Not everyone does.
Hm. The L-Series cars were pretty good I thought. I had a 2000 LS2, and the build quality was good, the seats were quite comfortable even on long trips, not super fast but not bad, the 54-degree V6 actually sounded kinda cool, decent handling, etc. Of course the L-Series was basically an Opel Vectra, so it was already…
Florida, man. (I mean “woman”.)
OK, I won’t. Because I’m not. Are you?
Um, I wouldn’t know. The hate seems to be flowing in the other direction, here.
It should be a percentage over, rather than a fixed number. E.g. 30 in a 25 (5 mph = 25%), but 60 in a 50 (10 mph = 25%) or 90 in a 75 (15 mph = 25%), etc.
Say you’re a insufferable, self-absorbed asshole, without saying it. If you think that being from the US means being bad at math, maybe that’s a you problem rather than an us problem. Me do reciprocal much goodly, thanks.
(A) it should be liters per 100 km. (B) Believe it or not, many of us are perfectly comfortable with reciprocals, and just as comfortable with either, FFS.
“Vehicles in the U.S. just keep on getting older as new ones continue to cost way too much for the average buyer” Cars have also become better-made and more reliable over time, at least regarding basic mechanicals, so people don’t need to replace them as often.
