“The boat should be confiscated and sold at auction,” one comment read. Another reads, “Take their boat and jail them!”

Good to see that, once again, America’s cultural influence is spreading across the pond... <eyeroll>
Slightly less than half, based on the last election. Thankfully.
“Do you believe everything you see first watch?” Of course not. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t also a huge number of incredibly stupid people out there.
Just trying to do my part.
“No one can actually be this stupid. Right?” You must be new to social media. Right?
OK, I guess, but does the other one have to be your wife? Who might get shot along with you?
“This is hell.” Not if you sign up for it, which would presumably be because you like that sort of thing. And if you don’t (like it or sign up for it), well... <shrug>?
And everyone who’s missed a joke has had someone else be a dick about it. Or more than one, in this case.
“TikToker Blaisey Arnold” is pretty much all you need to know here, isn’t it?
There’s a reason ACAB is becoming a thing, you know.
He took his wife with him? Not sure how smart that was - of course, also not sure how smart it was to go after they guy himself in the first place...
I’m surprised a country like the UAE would have a place called YAAAASSSSSS Marina!
They’re already biologically enhanced; why shouldn’t they be electronically enhanced or replaced by robots?
Re #1: While I’m perfectly willing to believe/agree that AP/FSD don’t do enough/well enough to keep the driver engaged... let’s look at this more holistically - is it possible that these systems prevented as many or more accidents than they caused (or failed to prevent)? Has anyone looked at accident/fatality rates…
That Bugatti Type 32 looks a lot like a Pinewood Derby car I made when I was like 11 years old.
“This article looks like it got a lot of engagement.” You mean clickbait, right? Don’t worry, we already know that these sites are really about nothing but clickbait.
“what I’m saying is, us Americans will be fine” - erm, that’s “we Americans”.
It’s got nothing to do with age... unless you mean that age brings the maturity to realize that you shouldn’t buy a car (or anything else) you can’t afford, whether that’s a lower-cost new car, or a used one vs. a new one, instead of going into hock over your head for stuff you really don’t need.
Then go design one. If people didn’t want these houses, or cars, they wouldn’t get designed this way. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean everyone else doesn’t.
