I am pretty sure this will be the most first-world problem I will read about, today at least. And if your local Best Buy doesn’t have USB-A-to-C cables, then your local Best Buy really sucks, or they’re all out of them because everyone else bought one. Amazon may be your friend here; they’re not exactly hard to find.

Volkswagen comes before Volvo alphabetically...

How could you possibly want to get rid of that? Beavers need love, too!

Massachusetts should change it to “Use Yah Blinkah, Yah Bahstad” just out of spite.

It does where there is actual demand for it. The Northeast Corridor is the only part of Amtrak that makes money.

They make what people will buy.

Simply from 1982? I wouldn’t mind owning an ‘82 930, or 928. Released in ‘82 is a different story.

The people that stuck them there don’t know that other countries exist.

Jetta: Are they including GLI, or is GLI broken out separately? ‘Cause I’d buy another GLI, if I weren’t looking for my next car to be plug-in.

Who told America to all drive trucks and SUVs that can’t handle a curve at speed?

I don’t know whether it was a bad car per se, but I submit the Citroen M35 as the worst-looking car introduced in 1969. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_M35

4-series: I don’t hate the grille, but BMW has certainly done better. Meanwhile, with the screwed-up Hofmeister kink in the new 5-series, who knows what the hell is going on over there.

Indeed, even with double-redundant backup, you’re talking about less than $50 worth of flash.

Wow, I didn’t even know that was a thing...

Except that the swatting itself becomes news... Streisand Effect in effect.

I’m not sure how swatting your critics “protects your reputation”...?

A friend of mine had a ‘91(?) Eclipse, it was a fine car. Another friend also had a ‘9x Galant (also with the 4G63 IIRC), also quite nice. I think Mitsubishi has come down a long way since then.

The seats were reasonably comfortable. That’s one small part of the driving experience.

I don’t know about the PHEV - it looks like it might be a significantly different car - but I just recently had a relatively new Outlander (non-hybrid) as a rental, and it totally drove like ass. Slow, wobbly, noisy - I wouldn’t own one if you paid me.

Would we be saying the same things if he had hit a minivan, killing an innocent family?” Then he would be guilty of multiple manslaughter. Don’t run from the police, people.
