People do have the right to “travel” on roads. No one said they have an inherent right to travel in a motor vehicle on roads. Get out of the car, Suhvern Sillizens, and start hoofin’ it.

If you don’t want one, don’t buy one. A lot of people drive less than 40 miles a day typically, which means that this is basically an EV for them most of the time, and then a hybrid when needed for longer trips.

I really wish they’d make a PHEV CR-V, or HR-V. Or Tiguan (one that’s available in the US, I mean.)
