It's probably more like "patience" than optimism. They'd be foolish not to continue to release iterations of their money-makers.

There are actually some decent points to be made about trying to collaborate with hypersensitive individuals, but he started out by calling women bitches, so it's just another stupid women-hating rant from an asshole.
It's one thing to intervene when someone's being attacked, but in general, the kind of alpha shitheads who are rude to strange women on the street are the same kinds of guys just begging to hit someone, especially some well-meaning white guy (who they know hasn't been in a fight since the 3d grade).
I said I have the "right" to approach women (in a respectful manner).
My daughter has played her fancy jam for me a few times, but I'd never seen her before.
Read other sites - it's getting really good reviews - mainly for hugely fun gameplay. I'm not opposed to a review like this, because I'm sure I'd feel the same way about this. I'd still buy the game, but probably turn down the dialog slider in audio (if there is a slider).
Exactly - And Joystiq dedicated about 3 sentences to the humor - calling it "hit or miss" and focused almost entirely on the gameplay (they went the full five stars).
Happened to me as well. She was kind enough to send me a real photo a couple of hours before the date (because otherwise I wound't have been able to find her). And she was even rougher in person. I sat for a couple of drinks and made nice. A week later I found myself referenced on her blog - one of two dates she…
Yeah, well I get it.
Right, and nothing cures "a little more depression" like cold hard cash.
I played the arse out of this when it came out. I bought a Soundblaster AWE32 just to make the music less beep-boopy. Probably the one game world I really melted into, felt like I was leading a double life. Tried to go back recently and my limited imagination wouldn't let me - too blocky. And of course, you had…
Quick primer:
I read this badly - I thought they were trying to "out" the family - like they were all in the closet.
Do you understand the genre in which AHS operates (hint - it's what the H stands for)?

"I don't want my kids having to walk past CHUDs!"
I pictured people who looked basically normal, but would occasionally get blurry or blocky when their 4G connection stuttered, and occasionally just freeze in place.
agreed - but once you start chatting with someone, it's the usual dry, okcupid-style back-n-forth, rather than "hey, let's arrange sex." That's been my experience and that of a couple people I've asked about it (we're older than the usual users, for whatever that's worth). Could be that both parties are too polite…
Right - and because the straight app's connection to the gay app, some folks think it's a hookup app. It's not. It works like any any heterosexual pickup venue. In other words, you gotta play the straight game. Act like you don't want sex until you get it, then act surprised.
If someone has a thing you want (in this instance a vagina) they are the ones who ultimately decide rather or not you'll get it and they are the ones who set the criteria by which they will decide.
