While I agree that there's nothing morally wrong with having kids without having spouses, let's not pretend it's some universally awesome, progressive thing. It may seem "modern" when you picture upper-middle-class folks proudly going it alone, or forgoing marriage as oppressive. Thing is, most kids born

I neither wrote, nor think, either of those things. Feel free to disagree with me; just disagree with something I actually wrote.

This is going to sound really old-fayshioned, but what the hell is with all the celebrities who get married when pregnant. Sets a really bad example. Not the marrying part; that's cool. But in general, for us non-rich, non-celebrities, getting someone / being pregnant while unmarried generally doesn't work out so

Arguably translucent skin is worse

I don't have bags, but I do have thin skin, fair skin around my eyes, resulting in dark circles (which I've had since 9 years old). Hate it. I used to try to cover it up, but it always looked worse. I have to put a tanning moisturizer on, to slightly darken my skin tone, just so people don't keep asking if I'm ok,

I WILL kill HIM

I mean, if the whole division, office, or company goes down, it's just bad luck (though even then, often management will throw a lifeline to top performers). If you're getting let go outside of those circumstances, it means you're hovering near the bottom of the stack rank, which is where the weakest performers with

Yup, it's just the facts. And it's so stinky. Especially when you watch the sock price soar based on the headline "Company X to close offices, cut 13% of workforce".

Right - if you're really bright, talented, and hard working, you will not be let go a dozen times like the doofus in the last story.

Clearly the guy and his field were not a good fit. He probably ended up near the bottom of the stack rank at every position. If anyone was let go, it was him. And he never differentiated himself to make himself less disposable. No one gets laid off that often without sucking at their job at least a little bit.

"Zach Braff is sorry for comparing Pharrell to a monkey in an idiotic Grammys tweet."

Perhaps you'd be so kind as to share a link with any group who has reviews so meticulously written, organized, researched, and edited. Any group that has released 90-minute film critiques that's more entertaining than most major films.

Agree completely. There's one scene where it appears Mr Plinkett is ejaculating onto a TV showing a child actress.

I used to be jealous of those in hot, dry climates. Then I visited Arizona for business, and that set me straight:

If the relationship had been abusive and you realize that you are now better off, you might feel fairly positive about the breakup. On the other hand if you were extremely happy in the relationship and the breakup came as a surprise, you're probably going to feel very negatively about what happened.

Also, don't play the Opposite Game, where you seek out a partner who seems superficially opposite of the worst part(s) of your ex. example, if your last partner was aloof, don't go for a clinger. or go from a temperamental person to Captain Calm. or vice versa.

You forgot buying a box of wine, ripping the liner out, and going nuts on your "space bag"

Nah, shut off the radio and listen to your personal jams at very loud volume.

Looks like a Residence Inn in Anytown, USA.

I liked this post a lot. Adolescents do deserve more credit. Only very young kids are dangerously susceptible to media. Because their brains are still trying to figure out basics like "reality v fantasy". But teen minds have developed past that.
