This is the number one thing which irks me about this new console gen, the atrophy of a perfectly wonderful console (the 360). All these awesome, recent indies would work perfectly fine on last gen hardware, yet that's it - they're relics now.

Right, also the fact that the kids are only really little (and all pukey and unreasonable) for a fraction of their childhood). My kids are 10 & 13 and it's been goddam easy street for 6 years at least. Sure their teens will be no picnic, but also, their independence means less shlepping and entertaining.
