how did the wdtv live not get any love? its a roku box without he the name, and can stream all sorts of video formats from a network or a connect hd drive.

this is one reason i got rid of my box, besides he fact that it sucked for streaming mkvs, once my free xbox live trial ran out, i wasn't paying to keep it.

i rip all my blurays before i watch them, i have had too many issues with the cyberlink software to even bother anymore. i rip with makemkv, it rips out all the hard to skip previews and plays back beautifully.

if you arent an audiophile get the htib, just make sure it will decode the new hd sound formats like n DTS-HD.
