Screw the 360, that thing needs a 426 Hemi or 440 six pack, with a powerglide.

I had a couple yesterday. They aren’t bad, though they could use more filling. I’ll get them again. They’re cheaper than Taco Bell and better than Red Burrito, so why not?
As a white guy, I’m embarrassed by this guy. I lived the first 38 years of my life in NYC, then moved to central Florida. To this day I’m amazed how god damn stupid the natives are down here. They fly the confederate flag, they’re gun nuts and fly the Don’t Tread on Me flag, they support the NRA, they have zero common…
Both 4th gen F-Body’s had it. CAMARO on the Chevy, PONTIAC on the Firebird. The Grand Prix also had PONTIAC debossed in their front license plate insert.
Sport is best. Comfort blunts the throttle response, Sport + limits the traction control. Sport has the good response and full TCS.
No. It’s ALL WHEEL DRIVE. Rear drive is only available with all the nannies off, and BMW only recommends it for track use. Rear drive performance is dead. Let it go, along with the manual transmission. You can’t beat a computer shuffling power through all 4 wheels and 8 gears.
I had a 2012 X5M, and while I’d like to get another one, this isn’t the one. The mileage kills it. The turbos are only good for around 100k, which this one has surpassed, with a replacement cost of $5,000 plus labor. Also, by around 50-60k the interior starts rattling and electrical gremlins show up. In other words,…
This is what nightmares are made of. Save us Detective Pikachu.
It was, but that changed a few years ago. Gas stations do it all the time, even in states where it’s illegal.
Are we talking about Major Auto in Long Island City? They’re scumbags. I went there once, and their business practices made me never go back. Their loss. I bought my subsequent 14 cars elsewhere.
I’m dealing with this right now. I’m looking for a specifically equipped 2011-2013 BMW 550i to trade my Lightning for. And it’s bad enough trying to find the needle in the haystack, but when the dealer that has it is hundreds of miles away, won’t deal over the phone or internet (even though they have an internet…
For $130,000.
Typical Jalop article. Wah, wah, wah, it needs a manual. Just shut up already. The world has spoken and nobody wants an antiquated, obsolete manual.
Moron. Replaced an all aluminum high tech motor with an iron boat anchor. The B58 could have made the same 800hp, but why bother giving technology a chance? I’m sure dummy put in a manual gearbox too.
That’s correct. Some manufacturers make parts for even longer. I could build an Isetta right now through the parts department. And then there are the ones that do it for exactly 10 years, like Ford. That’s why I can’t get parts for my Lightning.
These buttons have been in M cars for a decade, and you’re first noticing them now? Maybe is time to ditch the old POS’s and get a real car.
I love it. If they made one that fit my Lightning, I’d drop the four grand in a second. It’s worlds better than my floppy vinyl tonneau.
It’s a good thing that blower isn’t blowing into the motor. 11.5:1 compression, with a non-intercooled M90? That thing would detonate and pop almost immediately.
That blower uses a 6 rib belt. I’ve built half a dozen 3800 Series 2 motors with it.
This is common for Porsche. Check out the Boxster and Cayman. Open the lid and you get two holes for fluids and that’s it. No engine access at all.
