i really didn’t understand what a qualifying offer was, then i read about it. and man is that f’d up. a team can just basically force a great player hitting FA to stick with the tam or - as obviously happened here - be out of a job for half a season because no other teams want to give up a pick in a draft in which

i don’t know what exactly would be an appropriate age. but i’ve met some 4 year olds, and none of them have had the sort of coordination you’d need to dodge a ball, even under the best of circumstances. i don’t think vendors are ideal either. and if you’re dumb enough, as an adult, to be staring at your phone during

also, maybe don’t sit a four-year-old on the third base line, where foul balls are commonly hit like lasers. I understand wanting to bring your kids to the game, but it wouldn’t kill you to sit in the outfield or on the 300 level

i’m no scholar, but i’m pretty sure the southern states didn’t rebel over the government restricting their speech.

actually, the phrase about inalienable rights, coming from “god”, is found in the declaration of independence, not the constitution. Though you are correct about the first amendment; it essentially says government can’t restrict speech or our ability to come together to gripe about the government.

um, ok?

even though what this guy did is clearly inexcusable, if she did bust out the windshield of his truck as alleged, she committed a crime. Sure, the optics aren’t great here, and hopefully the prosecutor would consider the circumstances in charging/pleading the case, but breaking a windshield is a crime.

the police department is the state. the state gives you the right. so no, not disturbing if you understand how government works
