actually, the phrase about inalienable rights, coming from “god”, is found in the declaration of independence, not the constitution. Though you are correct about the first amendment; it essentially says government can’t restrict speech or our ability to come together to gripe about the government.

even though what this guy did is clearly inexcusable, if she did bust out the windshield of his truck as alleged, she committed a crime. Sure, the optics aren’t great here, and hopefully the prosecutor would consider the circumstances in charging/pleading the case, but breaking a windshield is a crime.

ehhh i don’t know that he knows how to get things done. he was a rather unpopular representative from indiana, lost reelection, and wasn’t exactly hitting it out of the park as governor either. Sure, compared to Trump he looks like the president of Mensa, but I do not think he’s any sort of sage politician or dealmaker
