Payroll expenses are absolutely killer for me. I need to make sure my techs feel comfortable taking the extra time to run at a standard we expect, not miss any further issues, but then also know they’ll be able to pay their rent if the job turns into a weeklong nightmare.

I think you are wrong to range shame. This is right in the range of what mass-market electric vehicles should be. While we know that longer range electric vehicles are possible, for 90% of the driving needs of 90% of the population, 115 mile range is sufficient, and we should have more electric vehicles in this range,

We get it, you drive a Tesla... and lets not act like $8.5k is chump change (before tax credits) when you are playing in the $30k price area.

It turns out that love remains one of the best motivators when it comes to changing behavior.

If you can find one that’s not been ratted out over the years, maybe, but then there’s that legendary GM build quality from the 80s/90s that will just depress you.

I’m in the same boat as Margin Of Error. You can’t pay for the service with a Canadian Credit Card. Every year I pray is the last year of the Bell deal. We also get side by side advertising during the race, which always seems to coincide with a crucial moment.

Would also need a us cc and address

F1 TV NOT AVAILABLE IN CANADA BECAUSE OF BELL MEDIA

I think ESPN have the broadcasting rights in the US, so it’s probably their decision.

That plus the extra pain of not being able to open the rear doors. That plus the shaking you mentioned are two things I hate in my Silverado.

And the standard dry van trailer is 13'6".... Let the carnage continue!

Goes Like Hell-Some more!

It’ll survive the apocalypse, but it won’t survive the “wife despises the styling” factor.

Sometimes I feel like cars that “don’t need a lot of maintenance” are just actually better at hiding how broken they are from their oblivious owners.

I disagree with this. Being a frequent-flyer absolutely sucks. Taxing it would make it even more unbearable than it already is. What should be taxed up the wazoo are private jets and private-jet rides.

The idea is to NOT be noticed. Something that’s going to start when the going gets tough and be able to slink away into anonymity.

Agreed, I absolutely cannot handle this guy. I would much prefer to hear more Ed Bolian stories about it - Ed seems like a genuinely really good dude and has a very pleasant way of talking and telling stories.

I think the early 2000's are going to be a time jalops look back and realize that it was the last point you could get a manual transmission without all the nannies, have a good chunk of power, modern reliability and many modern conveniences. NP for this Vette.

There is a similar problem in the home solar business, where some customers are getting (*cough cough* extremely predatory) solar panels installed at leasing rates on their homes, and then they expect that they will receive a tax credit for having solar panels. A guy I know from about a decade ago is a territory

I thought there was 100% gender equality in the car buying market and everyone gets treated poorly?
