So... Just like anything else that would be good for the country.

Air travel in Canada gets pricey once you start crossing zones. From Winnipeg it’s cheaper to get to Europe than it is Halifax.

Canada is larger in size and only has about 10% of the population.

The fact that the body alone appears to be straight and complete is enough to make it a NP. 

I think the fact that Uber and Lyft also administer the service delivery might be enough to tip the scales against them.

If a shop is billing the customer at “book” prices, that’s likely either a consideration, or a direct reflection of how the tech is being paid for doing the work. Unless it’s one of the few shops that actually just pay their guys a good wage.

Those would be kind of the same thing. Some semis, although I think it’s rare in North America, only have 1 drive axle in a set of tandem drives.

Gross weight restrictions are different that restrictions you would see on something like a bridge. Load restrictions have nothing to do with the vehicle’s gross weight and everything to do with how much tire is on the ground.

Class one (semi) drivers are expensive. If you only have to hire drivers with a class 3 (like a regular dump truck) you save money. Theoretically.

Kids and people that spend WAAAAY too much time taking selfies. 

The few auto repair shops I worked at, the staff parking mostly went the same way. One place I worked at, the guy that made the least amount of money drove a ~5 year old MDX and the boss drove an Avenger out of the used fleet.
