Air travel in Canada gets pricey once you start crossing zones. From Winnipeg it’s cheaper to get to Europe than it is Halifax.

Canada is larger in size and only has about 10% of the population.

If a shop is billing the customer at “book” prices, that’s likely either a consideration, or a direct reflection of how the tech is being paid for doing the work. Unless it’s one of the few shops that actually just pay their guys a good wage.

Gross weight restrictions are different that restrictions you would see on something like a bridge. Load restrictions have nothing to do with the vehicle’s gross weight and everything to do with how much tire is on the ground.

Class one (semi) drivers are expensive. If you only have to hire drivers with a class 3 (like a regular dump truck) you save money. Theoretically.

The few auto repair shops I worked at, the staff parking mostly went the same way. One place I worked at, the guy that made the least amount of money drove a ~5 year old MDX and the boss drove an Avenger out of the used fleet.

Around here Costco gas stations are open an hour before, and an hour after the store. After the store closes it’s pretty empty.

If that place is real, it must be a shit show in the event it gets busy.

But I’m just running in for 1 item. Surely I’m more important than everyone else at the convenience store buying 2 or more items.
