Every manufacturer does the same thing. They’ll advertise an entry level car “starting at” something like $9,999, but you’d be hard pressed to ever find one on a lot.

That’s the GM modus operandi. Do something that could be great, cut corners until it’s disappointing and then release it to the public.

Only like 3 $60k variants will ever be built. I’m calling bait and switch on it now. At that price it’s going to start cannibalizing Camaro sales.

Those “plates” just look like plastic there to prevent damage from bouncing rocks, etc.

Considering there’s no more explanation than ‘needs AWD/4x4', I’m guessing off-road is a dusting of snow or a gravel parking lot.

The weight in and of itself wouldn’t be the problem in most applications and tongue weight is only supposed to be about ~10% of the gross. If it’s a dedicated trailer, it would be easy enough to setup once.

If you’re worried about 1500lbs breaking the bank and causing poor fuel economy, you need to rethink owning an RV. Because according to the internet, the weight itself isn’t the issue to most* class A or C RVs.

When you get to your land yacht parking lot, you can just disconnect the car and park the land yacht.

They’re not “gone”, they’re just so beige you can’t see them.

I live near ‘scrap’ yards, the insurance auction is on Wednesday and Thursday night they’re usually shoving cars into containers to go to Africa, with whatever else fits in it.

It almost looks like they stuck the ABS module on the master cylinder and decided to just use that to boost the brakes.

We’ll simply tart up the name and call it “negative equity” so it doesn’t scare people who know nothing about it. Then we’ll lengthen the term by a couple of years to bring down their monthly payment by $50.

I’m pretty sure Nardo is a town, or region. Not just a technical facility.

It’s not the economies in middle class North America that are expanding.

Free Trade hasn’t helped the middle class and import tariffs used to completely pay for the US federal government.

Unions around here broke a political party and then installed a leader who’s been convicted of a few criminal offenses and only charged with a couple more.

The OE motor failed and they installed a used part from a vehicle that lived a much harder life. Then, because they installed a used OE part, it also failed.

What!?!

If you buy good ones.

Where do you think most of the used tires come from?
