The weight in and of itself wouldn’t be the problem in most applications and tongue weight is only supposed to be about ~10% of the gross. If it’s a dedicated trailer, it would be easy enough to setup once.
If you’re worried about 1500lbs breaking the bank and causing poor fuel economy, you need to rethink owning an RV. Because according to the internet, the weight itself isn’t the issue to most* class A or C RVs.
