I like cars, have most of my life. But mainstream car “culture” is intolerable for the most part.

That’s fairly typical GM corporate think though. Create a product that isn’t perfect, but people like. Then redesign said product until the few things people liked about it no longer exist.

It has to do with social media and needing validation from other people. Now some want it to be a huge public event with photographers, family and friends etc in attendance.

Well, we are in Canada and for the last 20 odd years he’s been driving a zamboni part time. A co-worker at a large facility failed to see his car and gave it a love tap. 

My brother had an 87 that he bought around 95. Sometime just before the new millennium it was hit by a zamboni in the A-pillar and it’s watch had ended.

We don’t even have proper freeways here, so in most cases you can literally go around the block and cross the (major) road at a set of lights easily. 

Anything less than a 10 is considered a zero.

I’m going to be perfectly honest here, people like the Impala driver in the third video are why I’m hesitant to let people into the flow of traffic. Every other time I make that mistake the person immediately stops and waits to be let over into the next lane. Or stops to make an uncontrolled left turn and/or u-turn. 

Come to Canada. In some places you can drive for a day, assuming 8-12 hours, and not cross a provincial border. 

I live somewhere with inspections. I worked at a small shop that also sold cars. One we got from the dealer auction still had the ‘GM Optimum’ decal on the windshield.
