I just have cheap Continentals on my SRT4 and they’re rocks near freezing. They stayed on about a week later than usual this year, so they were on one morning when the temperature had dipped below freezing. It took a few minutes of driving for the flat spots to come out.

Unless you’re planning a cross country trip, you aren’t going to “burn them out” when the temperature is barely above freezing. You’re good until about 20C (~70F) before shit really starts. But again, that has a lot to do with how far you’re going on them.

Subaru engines check a lot of boxes if you need a horizontally opposed engine. They’re cheap, plentiful and tunable.

I miss my old 5 minute commute to work.

From their bed, on their computer, as they’re “telecommuting”.

My step 2 is to just relax and be patient. If traffic is backed up, you aren’t going anywhere fast. So there’s no point in fighting it.

I drove one of these:

How and why do sports levels that elite exist for 8 year olds? Oh right, because parents are willing to buy into it.

I think that was one of the models GM rebranded for the Canadian market.

I’m actually curious as to what the local laws and fees associated with such devices are, also the local “distracted driving” laws. Around here you have to have them installed after your first offense and there’s something like a $150 a month monitoring fee. It would also be interesting to know if it was the driver’s

While being a peasant and $13,000 feels like a lot of money to me. In the grand scheme of things it’s almost nothing.

Don’t forget parents who live out their hopes and dreams through their children.

Believe it or not, it does happen where through some witchcraft that the replacement ball joint won’t fit because it’s too loose. I’ve had it happen to me twice, once on an F150 that had aluminium LCAs and again on a Trailblazer that had steel LCAs. In the 80s or 90s I’m told that Moog actually sold an oversized unit

I’ve had to replace riveted ball joints, in a shop with the proper tools. I would honestly suggest most people just pay the couple hundred dollars for someone else to do it. The benefits outweigh the costs in my book.

GM used to be a fan of them in some applications.

A drop of red loctite and 3 ugga duggas.

If you live anywhere with rust, removing suspension components like control arms can turn into a nightmare.

It’s an easy target.

They were playing the long game. Now instead of criminal charges being pursued, followed by a public trial. She’ll quickly get a nice big check with her name on it and she’ll never be able to legally talk about it again.

Is there an app that helps you find McDonald’s restaurants where the service hasn’t gone to shit? Since they rolled out the self serve kiosks in these parts the order speed has taken a dump.
