That’s where DUI laws are going. In my locality, you instantly get a suspension you CAN NOT appeal. I believe it’s 30 days. They lumped it in with some reckless driving legislation, so you also immediately get an instant suspension for speeding by a certain amount.

A lot of it would probably depend on if what he’s selling is titlable. If there’s no title and it will never see the road again, it may only be an assembly of parts, not a “car”.

Just take a look at what Caterpillar did about 5-10 years ago. CAW went on strike and got a better deal, they shuttered the plant up and moved it to a southern US “right to work” state.

It’s hockey hair buddy.

So, now that they’re back to work does that mean we/they get to call out all of the fucking scabs and union busting dealerships that hired them?

They issue the ticket and it’s up to you to prove you didn’t deserve it. So you can either hire a lawyer to represent you locally, or travel back into the state and defend yourself. Or, you just pay the ticket like they want.

I wouldn’t even go as far as engine damage. Because damn, clutches are expensive on modern cars.

If it was bad enough the house was sold afterwards, it’s probably not related.

I’m pretty sure this article is bait so NIMBYs can find out who’s building something and complain to local authorities about it.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.

Unfortunately there’s too much money for the system to make off poor drivers. My province has been tough on drunk drivers for almost 2 decades now and all it’s equated to is HUGE penalties for people not involved in an accident. Kill someone, drunk or not, and there’s an outside chance you’ll actually get something

Nah. Then insurance rates will skyrocket and the events will be cancelled when another location isn’t available.

For such a mediocre platform, no other single design has changed the way we drive in the last 50 years more than the minivan.

You are right, I’m sure on all counts. I’m pretty sure the whole LDM RHD thing wore itself out a while ago around here, or it’s at least not the “cool” thing it once was.

You guys realize that R32s are usually under $10,000 Canadian, so about $7-8000 USD.

As much as I enjoy cars and working on them, H2Oi and the resulting insanity is why I no longer involve myself in the local car culture. Sure, you’re just out for a drive, then idiots get together and it’s like throwing a match at a pool of gasoline. Sooner or later someone’s going to do something stupid and the idiot

If you think “stancers” are the only ones who’s vehicles wouldn’t “adhere to Maryland’s vehicle safety standards”, you couldn’t be more wrong. Where the standards exist and the laws allow, roadside “safety” violations are merely a tool used to extort money from anyone with a modified vehicle.

Hell, I kinda live in the burbs and park my car on the street in the summer. It’s surprising how many people use the public road for car storage, only to move them during parking bans for snow removal and street sweeping once a year. All the bullshit bylaws our city (not NYC) comes up with and they won’t even do

That’s about all you need to say. If it’s good enough for the guy that has a camera to examine down to the microscopic level of a painted surface. If he told me pissing on it would help, I just might try it.

When you read the instructions and it says to ‘wear gloves to avoid skin irritation’, it should really say ‘if you’re not the same skin tone as the wax, your hands will be when you’re done’.
