Tell me about it, if I hit boost approaching highway speed I can feel the tires spinning.

I’m sure someone outside of Cadillac did once.

If you plan on towing that much more than randomly, you probably have or will buy a dedicated vehicle for towing.

Did I mention it’s a Caliber SRT4?

Chunks of 4-0

Whenever Euro lovers start referring to their cars by their codes and not year and model, I honestly just gloss over. Same thing with most Honda codes. Just say 2008 M5 or 911 2012.

You’d run once and they would tell you not to come back until you have the proper safety equipment.

I identify as the latter. I daily an SRT4.

It’s rated for 900 ftlbs of torque, the car has 770.

The same reason we never got a manual Charger Hellcat, if they did it from the factory the car would have to be crash tested again with the whatever they put in it. That costs big money.

Until a small fender bender and the 2 large pieces of glass explode, costing an arm and a leg to replace.

Tremec Magnums are only rated for 700ftlbs of torque.

Apparently the Tremec is only rated for 700 ftlbs of torque. Whereas the ZF 8HP90 is rated up to 900ftlbs.

Face it, it would be a rotten used (obviously) Protege 5.

I’ll clean anyone’s car the same way I’ll fix them for free. When it’s not a total mess and they do it on my schedule.

I work at a galvanizing plant that puts out some nasty dust, a co-workers windows were so bad he was having trouble seeing out of them. I gave him a couple of chunks of 4-0 and on Monday his windows were clear.

I work at a galvanizing shop that outputs acidic dust, the lot is gravel and so is every other lot in the area. I’m seriously considering just plasti-dipping the thing so the paint doesn’t get more wrecked.

Plot twist. The riced out Honda she loses her V card in was her parents.

It’s not just a commercial, it’s an allegory of Honda as a car manufacturer. Going from a young and youthful red 2 door hatchback that’s well engineered and handles like it’s on rails. To modern Honda, fucking beige*. They’re now accountant built and boring as dirt. CVT EVERYTHING!!! Who needs handling when we can

I worked with a guy who was from China, one day he was telling us how much (equevilent to) run of the mill North American cars were.
