My personal opinion is that blocking highways should be illegal in all circumstances, that protestors should have been jailed the first day they did so, and that the weak initial response to this protest is what gave it life. A stronger response would have prevented a multi-week blockade in the first place.

In the US the government can already, and regularly does, steal property from citizens every year via asset forfeiture.

Parliamentary approval is the literal definition of the whims of the party in power.

No it isn’t any different.

Nothing like “emergency powers” being used to take people’s private property without recourse.

Yeah, NYC is a crazy place. I don’t miss it one bit. The theory is to make a ton of money and then live somewhere cheaper for retirement. That way, just on scale alone you live like a king. What I found after a looong time living there, that it’s just not worth it.

Well, move to Jersey then.

Hey man, dont worry, some people here want to ban all vehicles from cities so youre just ahead of the curve.

The Z4 is underrated, and here’s why: It was basically the fourth best option for most if its life cycle. (Heck, even today it’s competing for space with its platform-mate the Supra, and steady competition from Porsche.)

Its basically creating a dam for convivence to rich people, but to drown the poor people who cant afford to live in the city.

Logistics aside (e.g. getting day-to-day supplies in), why would you think a ban would have made a difference in this context?

Man... I got questions and issues.

First, how the hell does a test talk about numbers and charts and NEVER once mention the actual temperature on said day of test? Come on.

Then THIS article says “32 degrees to a dangerous -40". I’m guessing that Usian numbers and F. And it does appear that -40F is the same as -40C -

Fun bit of trivia: -40 C = -40 F

One of the things I’ve read is that you need to be more mindful of snow and ice build-up in the wheel wells, especially the front, because there’s no engine heat. Also that snow and ice build-up on the windows can happen more frequently if you’re relying on heated seats and steering wheels. It sounds like it’s all

I wish the Norwegian winter tests had published the actual temps during testing. If they were in there, I didn’t see them.

Forget Formula E.

It would be fun to see an ice racing series based on these.
