It just needs to stay dead. I stopped watching TG when I could not understand the new hosts ( I am an anglophile but the new guys talk like they took too many head blows and drank too many Guinness’s after the rugby match) I liked the grand tour but all good things must come to an end. If amazon wants a car show,

Dax might be a good choice, but Joe Rogan lacks something, charm, tact, he always comes across as forced. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about his time hosting Fear Factor or his podcast, it always feels like he’s trying to force it. He tries too hard to get the contestants hyped up. It’s like a bad public

While there’s a lot of great stuff on car youtube, the BBC’s budget really lets Top Gear go above and beyond in ways no youtube creator ever has.

I think Clarkson being a jerk is actually part of the appeal.

The YouTube landscape has a lot going on but it’s still fairly fractured, you can’t go to one channel for crazy and sensible, which was part of the Top Gear appeal aside from the hosts. It still seems like there’s room in Netflix or HBOs lineups for a good car review show that could bring together the current state of

100%, Clarkson being an ass aside, TG worked and ONLY worked because of that specific trio of people/personalities.  Very much lightning in a bottle.

The problem is trying to recreate the same show with different people. A car show does not have to be hosted by a trio of (less and less) middle-aged goofy guys. It always ends up feeling like an homage band.

I never understood the point of a 392 in a Wrangler. If they just wanted to offer a V8 the 5.7 would’ve been perfectly adequate without being ridiculous.

Oh no! This leaves Jeep with only 17 other Wrangler trim levels.

They’re committing serious fraud for such little???

Used Fedex Truck with 180K miles is the automatic Red Flag. I would expect way more.

It was caught on camera

I graduated in 91. My dad in 43. We loved Penn State.

The highest paid state employee in most states is the university football coach. But we can’t pay teachers a living wage or give kids food to eat… priorities… smh.

“Still, the only thing my aunts and uncles talk about is the year he dressed as Santa and brought a Christmas tree home. ”

Not only that students threw the bastard a vigil in his honor when he died.

That is only because he is a professor. Had he been a part of the sports franchise, Penn State would have doubled down on defending him.
