That’s exactly what I would think. Who sees a FedEx truck and thinks “only driven to church and back”.

This site is such political bullshit anymore. Using the term “regret to report” on anything vaguely positive about Tesla? If being American built is somehow a harbinger of quality?
I live in an area that is convenient for everything except flying. It’s two hours to an airport, so make it four to get there with time to clear security and all that bullshit. Unless I am traveling cross country east to west, driving is almost always more convenient as well as less expensive.
Better is subjective. I’m fine with progress all along to make a car safer and more efficient. But especially on an off-roaster, simple is better. My Jeep is an 03, and has half doors. I can pop them off and carry them both at once. A new JK full door, full of power windows motors and other various creature comforts…
I have an 06 Subaru Outback 5 speed. It has a great clutch, the transmission is pretty good, but fifth is not a great ratio. The engine is clocking 3300 rpm at 65 mph. I wish the engine wasn't spinning so hard at highway speeds.
They may actually have that number of pre-sales, but the world has changed since they announced the truck and now. GM and Ford are building electric trucks that look like typical pick-ups, and are already loyal to these brands for trucks.
I literally have no idea how much lithium needs to come out of the ground to make a battery, but it does seem a bit optimistic to think that the US has enough lithium to make all the batteries we will need in the next 10-20 years.
The bike articles are in depth about vehicles. Maybe not car blog material, but no further off topic than planelopnik. It's not blatant political click bait.
I was just fixing my Subaru’s fuel door last night! Apparently I was a little too enthusiastic last time it froze shut, and I bent the door so it wouldn’t spring open at all.
Referring to Johnny Dangerously gets a star from this guy.
Are we just changing this site to fuckjeffbezoslopnik?
I really realized how much they really try on the show when I was watching once and they were taking care when rebuilding an engine to route the spark plug wires the exact same path it was done at the Chrysler factory. No one would even know, let alone care, but they did. I’d rather watch that TV show than any “car”…
My dad watches anybody on TV under a hood. Most of them are unwatchable for me...but Graveyard Cars is one that I don’t mind. The guy is a dork...he reminds me of Steve Carrell’s character on the Office, but he is knowledgable about his cars. And it doesn’t feel like dramatic reality TV.

Look at the number of comments. Way more “user engagement” with political click bait than when they actually talk about cars.
Its amazing how every time Jeff Bezos is mentioned, it’s like five minutes until it’s fucking guillotines.
Have you ever seen a truck fender shredded by a blown tire? Slashing a truck tire sounds like an ideal way to lose your hand up to your elbow.
I use YouTube in the garage and always hate myself for it. Nothing like having a car torn apart and holding on to a dirty part and hoping YouTube will pull you out of a bind when you’re trying to remember which way this thing went in, and your only hope is a 18 minute video that contains 12 minutes of...
I’ve seen where people weld the front clip of two cars together. This looks like two rears combined.
I know that, but it doesn’t mean that you won’t want to recharge your EV, regardless of how far you drive.
