I love the design of this. It’s different without being ugly.

The fact that I can buy a brand-new, bottom-spec’ed 5-speed Nissan Versa for $15,000 with standard features like:
Hear, hear!
If there’s one thing we all know about Millennials, it’s that they have a ton of expendable cash that they spend on luxury cars.
Rice and Kraut was prime mid 2000's forum speak
It’s worse seeing this *trend* in smaller consumer spaces. You ever notice how movie theaters have begun going the route of bigger comfier seats instead of more seats? People joke about the term “late-stage capitalism”, but I genuinely think the death-rattle for this whole system is companies figuring out there is no…
Less than 10k units? That’s going to make the inevitable recalls much easier to handle. Look I know its an old and tired joke that Land Rover’s are unreliable...but they aren’t really shaking it. Electronic gremlins abound, major engine issues, poor dealer training resulting in accessories ruining the car…
I like the high seating position because it gives you the best vantage point to spot the tow truck you called.
Agree, all that wasted space around the RAM logo, the letters could be at least 8 inches wider and 6 inches taller.
that’s why they are rich and you’re an idiot who sold an e39 m5
Plus rig up a pair of rubber bands, and 4th gear becomes your handbrake... sorry, E-brake.
My dad bough a G29 recently and I tried for a bit on my PS4. The shifter felt like this video, after a while I stopped use it. But somehow I still prefer the Dualshock controller, maybe I need more time to get used to the wheel
The lap time thing can depend on the sim and the car. iRacing penalizes (inserts intentional delay) with the use of flappy paddles in some cases, notably the MX-5. iRacers have tested and shown that an H-shifter with unassisted clutch is fastest for that car.
Yeah, the H-box is cheap feeling, but that does not detract from the fun at all, IMHO. If anything, the dantiness with which you should use it makes it pretty cool. There’s something interesting with the disconnect of running a 600hp C7.R down a straight at 180mph, and downshifting like your casually moving chess…
I actually learned to drive a stick playing Race Drivin’ in the arcades back in the early 90s. I’m sure I’ll have fifty people in here in a minute throwing shade, but when I actually wound up in a stick-shift car a year later it only took about half an hour before I was perfectly comfortable with it.
It’s not as good as you think. You have to spend half the time being a nervous wreck, afraid of people who aren’t white for really no reason while simultaneously feeling oppressed, completely oblivious to the privilege that has been afforded to you since birth and that you reap the rewards from that privilege on a…
D’oh! I hadn’t noticed that your bolded sentence wasn’t what he actually typed out. Carry on.
And....All rocking mud terrains...checks out Muds are less than useless on snow / ice. for some reason people think chonky blocks work well in snow. They don’t. Standard all seasons would have worked better for these guys.
Those rims HAVE to be just pure trolling. My gawd they’re awful
This is the exact feeling I had as I read the article. I’m a vet myself and have a lot of negative feelings about my service in Afghanistan, especially when my Air Medal citations all list the associated EKIA. It’s icky. I almost wish they hadn’t mentioned his Dominican Republic service.
