11,500 on the MKX and 10,500 on the F150.

Now this I can get behind. I track TCO of my vehicles, including original purchase cost, fuel, maintenance, repairs, registration, insurance, and depreciation. When I sell a car I finalize the depreciation and then I know for sure how much it cost me per month to own that car. Our 2011 Edge ended up costing

don’t impress the accountants so they don’t add to resale value.

CURES CANCER™ offers a small amount of pain relief to mild headaches. It might also totally fuck you up. CURES CANCER™ is not intended to treat cancer. Consult your doctor if you have cancer. CURES CANCER™ has no effect whatsoever on cancer. Why would you be stupid enough to think that? It’s your fault.

the rear is a torsen style LSD WITH a locker. I’ve never seen that elsewhere.

People with tuned EcoBoosts are already blowing through the TOD clutches...are the TRX units built with any extra durability?

Does the engine sound good,

I don’t understand why people hate on it so much

Ford goofed up a bunch of things when it comes to their EVs, not the least of which was increasing the pricing substantially and the early quality issues

Yeah whenever I see a Model 3's taillights and remember that the brake lights are just like 4 individual LEDs in there, I am reminded about how absolute bottom barrel all of their parts are. Not that being simple is bad, but it’s not premium in the way comparably-priced cars from other makers are premium.

Why not go for a bigger LS motor? Well, as the owner explained to Mr. Regular, a 5.3-liter aluminum LS fits really well in the back.

That’s the kind of shit I’m there to see. There’s a Chrysler 300C running around here with no hood and a turbo sitting up on top of the engine. I want to see THAT thing at C&C, not your 1-of-2500 yellow C6 Corvette with the factory mud flaps and black interior with yellow stitching.

This is actually fascinating to me, as I didn’t know there was a “real” intake for the SBF designed for a top-mount Roots-style blower. I did some more digging and found these pictures of the intake:

The C&Cs around me always seem to appreciate the weird stuff...anything to break up the rows and rows of Chargers and Challengers and Camaros with the same bolt-on accessories and American flag stickers.

Well to be fair, many EV infotainment systems like Tesla, Ford, and presumably GM have LTE/5G modems in them and the live maps have every bit as much detail as Apple/Google Maps/Waze, etc regarding traffic, upcoming hazards, weather, etc.

I guess I have to quote this for a third time.

Are you talking about 2015?

I was surprised when the Hellcats first came out that everyone was making such a fuss about them. The GT500 was making 662hp in ‘13 and ‘14, posted similar or faster 0-60 and quarter mile times as the Hellcat, handled better, and was 100% manual only. Why was everyone freaking out about some big boat that brought

I know someone that has done A/B testing between 245 and 255 autocross tires of the same model on the same wheel. The 245s were faster until they overheated and greased up, where the 255s had enough additional heat capacity that they didn’t overheat and ended up faster overall.

You’ll want at least a 2018, but preferably 2019 and newer due to a few updates that were made as the platform corrected earlier flaws.
