What are these weird grates in the scoops? They weren’t in the movie car, why are they in the official reproduction? They’re horrid.

Wow, the rear bumper gap on #2...

It looks like it’s just a visual package for the FX4. FX4 is a locker, shocks, rock crawl mode, hill descent control, and skid plates. Rattler is all of those things plus wheels, graphics, dual exhaust, and some visual interior bits.

To me, it kind of makes sense for dealerships to install fast chargers. Many small towns that don’t have a Supercharger or similar have a dealership, and they’re usually right off the highway. The dealerships already have a customer lounge for the service center with coffee and a TV playing bad daytime shows.

I mean...nothing about used cars in 2018 is relevant to today.

Seems very unlikely, and would make the ‘bro’ a very easy target for being arrested.

In return for better health care and pay, the writers agreed to double their slideshow output.

A floating 3-piston caliper? I’ve never seen that before! Way cool.

Wait...what’s a 3 piston caliper?

It’s already built, just needs a signature of a pen to allow it to flow.

I love this take.

Full interior with jack and tow hooks and everything:

LS swapping an RX8 has made it 3250 pounds.

Oh man I’d love to see these un-tearable cloth seats.

I like all of my space my RX-8 has. It took some doing to actually find one without a sunroof, but I did it. I’m 6'5" and I actually have helmet room.

I don’t want a Camaro.

The RX-8 forums will tell you it’s not worth it. Not super complicated, but it’s expensive. And when the irons wear, clearances increase, and there’s no way to make up for that like you with an overbore on a piston engine. Compression on a rebuild will never be as it was from the factory.

Adding leather from the factory means adding a sunroof, which removes your helmet room and adds a bunch of weight. In this case, the stripped base model being called “Sport” and the loaded heavy model being called “Grand Touring” are exactly accurate.

That’s what the suede inserts are for.

I began cross-shopping two high-revving monsters: The Honda S2000 and the Mazda RX-8. Both are fun to wring out, and the RX-8 had the bonus of a back seat for people you don’t like.
