A V8 swap only adds about 150lbs to an RX, which is about the difference between me and an average American. The weight balance is not ruined. My RX was 52/48 from the factory - only the highly optioned extra-heavy cars were actually 50/50. The ride is not ruined. The handling is not ruined.

Yeah the H2 was a gargantuan “fuck you” to sensibility, moderation, and...well...all of humanity. And it was primarily purchased by people that enjoyed those qualities.

Ford is struggling HARD with the Bronco. I haven’t really followed any other new vehicle launches like this, but the number of mistakes that make it all of the way to the customer is pretty hilarious.

Given the power and the other changes, it’s no surprise that Schmidt says that it has excessive oversteer above 65 mph and you really have to focus to keep it on the road.

New Girl.

Something a lot of commenters are missing is that unless your drums are a dual-leading-shoe design, they offer VERY poor modulation and are prone to premature lockup, making them horrifically unsafe. Someone looking at payments only.

And then the aftermarket goes and does horrific shit like this:

Your comparison photo shows the Sasquatch, not the base. Here’s a base:

Death wobble is a SFA steering linkage thing, not a wheelbase thing, no?

The only correct response.

Why opt for a massive car if its ridiculous trunk design hampers any additional storage gains you might make?

It’s like if someone declares their 50 year old piece of shit the “most reliable car in history” and decides to daily drive it (to their job where they blog from home?) and then SURPRISE SURPRISE their 50 year old piece of shit breaks in a way totally expected for an old worn out piece of shit to break, they cause an

Looks like published rear legroom is 35.1".

All of these replies are totally proving my point, I love it.

This is one of those car-guy-isms that gets repeated over and over again but I’ve never seen any real actual data. People will go on and on about rally-car-this and my-grandpa-always-said that but no one has ever actually thrown down.
