That’s good info. That may be why it worked on my wife’s car at the time but doesn’t anymore.

I hadn’t thought about this before but I know exactly what you’re talking about - the road noise is damped by the snow, the sound of other traffic or anything else outside is muffled and reduced to a low frequency purr. No radio.
