The issue with the Eco Boost is that you’re not going to be getting that gas mileage if you’re flying past the V8s
No car ever needed a V8.
I had to get rid of mine when we had a second kid and needed to use the seat behind the driver. Absent that’d, I’d definitely still have it.
I also recently went to a Porsche-hosted press event at the fabled Hockenheimring track, where I managed to drive a car off-course and into dirt, narrowly missing a wall
500lb-ft from an NA 5.5L engine would be INSANE. That’d be 1.49 lb-ft/cubic inches. That’s NUTS.
Oh damn. I was just looking for Probes and MX-6s on Craiglist yesterday. They’re...all gone.
Warthog!
Yeah over on the Bronco forums whenever I mention that the upgraded transfer case with the auto 4x4 mode would be way better for on-road driving in snowy and other bad weather, I get a bunch of tough guys from Arizona that have no concept of driving over bridges that may or may not be iced over 4 months of the year.
One of those showed up to a local autocross driven by a fairly green driver and ended up hurting a lot of feelings that day. C4s are no joke.
The Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is averaging 12-14mpg real world.
JOKES ON YOU. The entire tv show was one giant commercial for Ford, so there were no commercial breaks! It was just one hour-long commercial! Focuses, Fusions, and Edges everywhere. Maybe the bad guys drove a Tahoe, but that was it.
I want an 8 foot bed so I can get those 4x8 sheets of plywood or drywall totally in the bed, or a full motorcycle with the tailgate shut.
I need to see a C8-replica Fiero racing in Lemons. It has to happen.
Wow.
MPG is not great, you’re right. Most new Ranger owners are getting ~19-20mpg combined, the Sport Trac hits around 15. The Tacoma 4.0 hit around 17 and the newer 3.5 does 18-19.
