Tasks as mindless as you describe are already automated. Most assembly is done by robots. The humans that remain in auto assembly are usually highly-trained and expected to perform a wide variety of tasks, and be knowledgeable on all.

Liquid H2 is insanely volatile. It’s super-cold, compressed, and packs incredible explosive energy when exposed to oxygen (i.e. air) and a spark (i.e. accident). And, fuel cells aren’t cheap.

It’s been many years since a Prius was thing to be smug about. There’s plenty of electrics and hybrids just as or more efficient.
