That’s definitely one of the reasons, but the other reason is probably that their cars are now 6+ years old and fucking old now interior or exterior wise.

What was that % in 1700?
To quote the guy from the other thread: “Starfield wasn’t snubbed. It simply wasn’t deserving.”
AKA taxpayers who shoulder the burden of this BS.
Mostly, I think this is BS messing with public infastructure to benefit the most wealthy people in the world. But editors note also has me wondering what the capacity of these bridges is & whether they would be at any risk of collapse if normal folks crowded on them to glimpse the race.
“Libertarians are like house cats. They are convinced of their fierce independence while utterly dependent on a system they don’t appreciate or understand.”
The private sector does it best, amirite?
Libertarians tend to think that public goods like parking meters should be monetized because “socialism!” But as we can see they are far less efficient than having the parking authority operate them. Paying the civil service wages and benefits can be less expensive, even in Chicago.
Libertarians are the stupidest people you ever meet and their ‘ideas’ are based on the simple fact that they never think things through.
This is pretty much the Libertarian wet dream, which is why we should all recoil in horror at libertarians and their insane arguments and claims.
I never expected BMWs to become the tuner-boi-shitboxes that they are today.
Atlanta: Mopar’s muscle cars, Nissan Zs & Infiniti Gs, and stanced BMWs are among the most obnoxious cars on the road out here.
In Denmark - the country of bicyclists - the police will nail you to the tune of $200 (and rightly so) for being on the phone while bicycling.
I wouldn’t say cyclists are wealthier. The spandex crowd, sure, but many people who don’t have cars (can’t afford them) and/or can’t rely on transit ride bikes to get around, they’re just go about their way and are not vocal about it. Plenty of low and very low income people, in fact.
Nah. I would argue cyclists are all over the board, politically.
I’ve driven close to a million miles and ridden over 50,000 miles.
Interesting how years of anti-cyclist/pedestrian sentiment and car-biased propaganda has pushed an entire population of people to see them as subhuman.
Johnson is a fascist religious extremist, and you can fuck right off with your lies about AOC.
ABS shortens braking distance on even NC miatas...
