Until a few years ago, I never took an auto loan longer than 3 years since the rates went up after that.

As a white man, a *lot* of other white men that don’t know me mistake me as “one of them”, so I get the pleasure of listening to a lot of racist shit.

Every chance I get. Last one was 2 years ago. My next will be a manual.

“The bodywork looks for the most part pristine”

The i3 is an objectively sub-par car, which makes it a great strawman.

How young are you ?

Now, yes. When they had the TDI, it was nicely equipped.

They made the classic mistake of offering the stick in the Mazda5 in the “poverty spec” only. When they didn’t sell, they came to the wrong conclusion it was the transmission.

You can’t be more wrong. Every single other 1st-world country has more restrictive gun control laws than we do and every single one has orders of magnitudes fewer gun deaths than we do.

I’m taxed $300/yr for my Leaf as an EV surchage in lieu of paying pump taxes.

*cough* leather-trimmed minivan with captain’s chairs *cough*

It means the distance your foot travels between 0% engaged and 100% fully engaged is very short, which means it’s very difficult to feather the clutch, especially when launching from a stop, uphill. Unless you have a well-trained, sensitive clutch foot/leg, you are much more likely to either stall the engine or squeak

The torque is very nice, yes. It feels like a much more powerful engine.

You’d have a valid point if the 550i didn’t exist.

For one thing, you start the trip at 100% and can arrive at your destination at much less than 100%.

Yeah, silly me. I actually *like* lower operating costs and never having to stop to refuel. For road trips, we use the ICE.
