I consider myself old as well -by consumer standards-, but one thing I’ve learned is that the way entertainment is distributed changes so much and so fats, that the likes of you and me do not know anymore what younger people actually want.

If they had chose that ending, I would have felt “safe”. Like “it was the right thing to do”. Like the Toy Stories I watched as a kid/teen.

That “old timey Earth restaurant”... Is that the same set used in Westworld and in Arrested Development?

Maybe it’s a different line, but He-Man / MOTU figures have been appearing at Mexican retail stores and supermarkets for the last 6 months:
