At least the Emmys have an excuse this year, since there hasn’t been a new episode since 2019, so there was nothing to nominate.

The category is insane! I could see Anya Taylor-Joy since QB was the show of the pandemic, and of course she’s really broken out. But Kate’s doing Heavy Accent Work, so it’s a coin toss.

If any of the Limited Series contenders win and then go on to a second season (Mare, Wanda/Vision), do they have to give back their award?

The Emmy’s are really breaking down barriers by nominating Michael K. Williams as Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for Lovecraft Country. So many laughs! So many of the wrong biological parts!

What? Seriously, what the hell are you actually talking about?

One of my best friends has a licence plate that reads “UP 2 11", which I think she uses partially as a personality test to see who gets the reference.

Oh, man...that is so sad to hear, and the statement from the family is so touching.

The film does not get talked about much, but Under the Tuscan Sun is one of my favorite woman-centered films of the last 20 years. Like its heroine, it is defiantly intelligent, and cleverly uses the trappings of modern-day rom-coms to

It was all one guy, he just kept running to the washroom and changing shirts.

There are three different potential audiences for the documentary Three Identical Strangers: 1) people for whom that title signifies nothing in particular; (...). Those in group one should read no further, for now—just see the film, which is a truly mind-boggling ride if you have no idea what’s coming.

No, but they did try. For the longest time.
