To me $2500 is a good enough price to look at it.

Most people are not willing or interested in taking on a project like this regardless of price.
That would be #1 with me too.
I don’t like getting mad, but I’d rather be pissed off than pissed on.
I need a few million dollars so I can fund a show that’s just Tracy/Torchinsky doing goofy shit together.
Before you vote CP, you need to know why - behold, the car in its original, beautiful form:
“priorities” is just a troll (as I found out by going down the rabbit with him far enough). Just dismiss him and pray that he really hasn’t actually been able to spawn.
Not a truck guy myself but always glad to see people enjoying their cars and using them to the fullest. Enjoy the Taco(ma)!
Winter commuter- I like that term. I live pretty rurally most of the year so for towing, hauling supplies & navigating snowy or muddy narrow dirt roads it’s so much safer than a car. She is a pig to park though and I always have to keep my exit in mind when choosing a spot. I don't need to drive much (weekly or less)…
Having kids is also a WANT not a NEED situation. Did you adopt them or did you make them new for the world that was certainly already over populated when they were born into it?
Hold up. You and I know this topic is way more complex than the way you are framing it, right? I have a big ‘ole V8 GX460. Ready to judge me? I also bike to work every day, hardly eat any red meat (which probably has a bigger impact on the environment than the car you drive), and have a second car that we put most of…
Fuck your kids.
Jesus, do you do this when a man writes an article about trucks? She says “3 inch Lift Kit” she provides a link to a “3 inch Lift Kit” and shows a picture of a Tacoma with a 3 inch lift kit, and you’re like “pfft, whatever, she must MEAN leveling kit.”
So I’m assuming that your house is powered by 100% carbon neutral means, you own an electric vehicle and only charge at stations only powered by 100% carbon free power sources, have no kids, only eat foods that are vegan and nonprocesed and sourced through carbon free means, etc.
A rationale for buying a full-size pickup is that resale value remains stout on the majority of them. They certainly don’t crater like European luxury cars or electrics.

Thanks, Molly the Truck Guy. This was hilarious and compulsively readable.
I hate trucks (and SUVs), but at least you plan on doing actual truck stuff with your truck. So many people drive trucks but use them as if they were sedans. I’ve seen business men wearing expensive shirts - with french cuffs - and silk ties driving huge, immaculate pick-ups that they’ve probably never used for…
Woo hoo! Congrats! I fucking love my truck., no apologies. I’ve had her for 2 years and I still love just seeing her when I walk outside. My next purchase will be a truck camper. I cannot wait.
