If there isn’t a Patton Oswalt and/or Christopher Meloni cameo in this, I will be highly disappointed.

Does NetFlix think it’s really competing for the same types of viewers as Hallmark. Hallmark is intentionally, gleefully retrograde and cornpone. Family, honor, duty, small-town values, etc. Even as it’s slowly making itself more inclusive (some movies last year had African-American couples and one Christmas movie 2-3

Having just recently watched The Princess Diaries 2 for the first time, although I missed the first 20 minutes ... my impression was that monarchical succession was based on royal bloodline but all monarchs had to be approved by a council of lords/advisors to the throne. Which is why Mia had to go through all of

I liked parts of it? Some of it was kinda subversive, but some of it was deeply irritating and I thought it told a fairly complete story, so no, technically, I didn’t ask for this. OTOH, I was severely under-impressed by Sharto Copley’s performance (file under: deeply irritating) so, Michelle Pfeiffer is a step in the

This beautiful show ... now to figure how to go back and watch it all from the beginning ...

AND MY AXE!

I had heard virtually nothing about Treadstone, but a couple of weeks ago, I was explaining why I was disappointed with Star Trek: Voyager because of the lack of Michelle Forbes and I fell down a small gopher hole and learned she was on this show. I have enough to watch on Tuesday, but I find myself on the fence about

I wouldn’t say the problem is her roles, per se, but that the films she’s been in didn’t get traction with the audience. She was great in Widows and intriguing in Bad Times at the El Royale, even though the Bad Times character was the least interesting/tic-filled person in the entire film.

I LOVED the ones from the 70s. So very, very weird. Pippi was my hero. And I’m surprised that no one (that I know of) has tried to turn the theme song into a punk/metal anthem.

I know it’s wrong, but I actually kinda wish they had gone with a string-heavy arrangement of War Pigs.

Did I miss something? Was there a “Return of Fall TV” mega-article that listed all of the new and returning shows by day of week?

If this question has been asked before, I apologize:

Merci!

More anachronistic than I was expecting. I don’t hate that on reflex, but I wonder if it will strike a meaningful tone. That said, I loved Hailee Steinfeld in True Grit and Into the Spider-Verse, so I hope this is a big success for her. And that it migrates to a platform I’ll actually watch in the near future (sorry,

Last week, I kept the TV on and didn’t change channels after The Terror: Infamy ended, so I caught some of Lodge 49. Fine. But later that week, I got on a Delta flight and the entertainment system had the first 3 eps of Lodge 49 and I am now intrigued.

YES. My first R-rated (fiction) film and the first time I saw Christopher Walken on screen.

I remember Golden Years and fondly! My introduction to Frances Sternhagen (the wife of the janitor character) and somehow, I liked Felicity Huffman more as one of the bad guys than I did in Sports Night. Also, fell in love with the Bowie song.

Paranoid Agent was so good at perpetuating dread and confusion, I had to stop watching. Just too much tension for me.

Is Blue Beetle for real and for canon resurrected?

You buried the lede - Timothy Omundson is back to working after recovering from his stroke!! This is great!
