EEEEEEEEEE, I love that tale - the whole book!

This may be widespread and recent, but it’s not novel. Long ago, Alanis did a Christmas concert for a LA radio station (KROQ) where “You Oughta Know” was performed with strings backing her vocals. It was gorgeous then, live, so that it works given the Vitamin String Quartet treatment on Bridgerton is not a major…
I’ve started singalongs on convention floors just whistling The Ballad of Serenity. Hard disagree.
[Insert any Neal Stephenson novel here] was a great two-thirds of a novel, then a really boring third of a different novel.
As mentioned by many, there’s meat I like (beef, chicken, most forms of pork) and meat I love (lamb, goat, pork belly, seafood). But I also have an issue with going vegetarian or vegan - I am sensitive to mushrooms. It’s hard enough to avoid in certain cuisines, but I’m not sure I could get enough protein without…
My question is, given his supporting role on the new Equalizer - what will the showrunners and Queen Latifah do, assuming the show gets renewed for Season 3?
But then again, the idea of singing and dancing street gangs (that kill each other) is inherently silly all the way around. IF you can get past that, the staging of musical numbers is utterly fantastic, and the music is among the best of any musical ever.
I won’t claim to be a huge K-Pop fan but of what I’ve heard - is BTS the best band to rep the genre for critical acclaim? BTS’s videos are entertaining, but I like Blackpink’s and GFRIEND’s songs better. Is it just me?

As someone who enjoys steampunk, Dickens Faire and the SCA - it’s fun to pretend. It’s even fun to roleplay. Going back to any of those eras as an asthmatic woman of African descent - oh, heck no, buttercup, I’m not sure there’s a reasonable amount of money you could pay me, even with the guarantee of being able to…
I love this movie for multiple reasons, not least of which is that the soundtrack was my gateway into Bollywood music and Indian electronica. “Today My Heart Desires,” which runs over the ending credits, still gets me chair dancing to this day.
Baptists have their own stores of guilt, mostly about dancing and sex, but it can slip into other things.
This is absolutely my guilty pleasure movie. If others find it too saccharine or cannot suspend disbelief in the Drew’s wavering accent, I cannot blame them but yet, this is something I can watch endlessly and enjoy every single time. It is lovely and fun and the world feels right at the end of the movie.
You have ‘horny car’ in the title and no mention at all of Cronenberg’s Crash?
Ever After, as ludicrous as it is, is just like a weighted blanket - comforting and soft and familiar.
You know, for kids!
I’d argue she was also well-cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous.
Not just you.
I am currently semi-binging Alfred Hitchcock episodes via MeTV and Mr. Lloyd was associate producer, occasional director AND occasional actor. I have yet to see an episode where he wasn’t absolutely delightful when he’s in front of the camera, whether he’s a nebbish victim or morally-ambiguous everyman or even the…
