Oregon resident here. This substantially has to do with “Democratic” state Senators who get hundreds of thousands from corporations and the Koch brothers. Betsy Johnson in particular is self-enriching and obnoxious.

I’m sure target can handle the extra traffic to their websites. After all they’ve gone a whole 2 weeks w/o a global computer meltdown and a magnificent run of 12 months w/o a major credit card secruity breach.

I disagree a little bit about it. I think she knew that calling them concentration camps would spark this exact response from the Republicans. They would try to wear her down with the “controversy”. But every time it comes up, she goes right into the facts of the matter.

This person seems to be really into taking suggestions that they’re wrong as personal attacks and then, uh, personally attacking those who suggest they’re wrong.

It’s a simple matter of preferring honesty to euphemism, and wanting people to face the truth and look it square in the eye. They are concentration camps in the simple straightforward sense. That cannot be disputed. The British invented them and used them on the Boers long before the Nazis were even an concept.
