What would it cost to live in the U.S. at the same standard of living as a way of comparing these to the option of not being an expat? My wife and I have spoken (not in great detail) of possibly leaving the U.S. when we’re retired and our kids are grown. Spain would be a great option, but how would living on $31,200

At least now I don’t freak out if a stray hair grazes my leg.

Roaches aren’t necessarily a filth-based bug, though. They can go a long time without food, so they are often attracted to sources of water. If you live in a damp environment, or have a leaky pipe, they can march right in and set up camp.

I agree. I had the same takeaway from Serial. Maybe those guys are murderers, maybe they aren’t, but how on earth would a jury come away with no reasonable doubt? Oh my god, A Child Called It made me cry SO hard. I can never forget that story. How can people be such monsters?

That's one badass assistant principal.

I hate to reduce people down to their looks but, damn, Michelle looks better every time I see her. That color looks amazing on her.

I’m loving the color of her dress!

Kara is correct:

Her arms were bare well past the elbows and there is a moment where you can catch a glimpse of armpit.

Before I say this, I should give a preface: Where I work, my specialty is spat upon in every conceivable way metaphorically — and I think the only reason it’s not physical is my department head knows THAT would actually give us something to take to HR. He really seems to think he could replace people with years of
