I don’t know that Avery is guilty or not guilty. But I really can’t fathom how the jury delivered the guilty verdict. Soooooo much reasonable doubt in every piece of this case. I didn’t necessarily think the doco was about his innocence so much as it was about the systemic corruption of the criminal justice system — it was about him in this case but it’s becoming clear that similar abuses take place in different jurisdictions every day.

I’m not sure that Steven is necessarily innocent, but I am sure that Brendan is. And I will never understand how they convicted Steven because that case was screaming with reasonable doubt.
