That's a good attitude to have!

Too precious for this world!

I feel like she managed to do that in the most hurtful way possible, too.

:(

Please stop replying to me; none of what you've said in this extremely drawn-out back-and-forth has added to this overall discussion.

So, business as usual then.

According to Wikipedia:

Because it's ILLOGICAL. *headdesk*

Maybe you should work on that in yourself, rather than using your insecurities to justify biphobia.

I didn't say it wasn't relevant; I said it's not the specific issue we were discussing.

I think we do understand it, but that doesn't mean it's not a component of bisexual erasure to insist that the possibility of being in or having been in an opposite-sex relationship, no matter the length or intensity, renders one privileged even when NOT in such a relationship. It's such a complex issue, if any of what I said made sense I'll consider it a victory!

Awesome! I was confused because I knew the rumors, but I couldn't remember having seen him on any of those lists of famous bi people.

I don't think that's the issue we're talking about here.

Yay, but I think I'd like it more if the main color were something other than that sky blue.

Well, I do genuinely believe gays and lesbians - whether they intend to or not - oppress bisexuals, but yes, the whole issue is startlingly complex.

Here's the thing, though: because there's no bisexual narrative in wider culture, all we hear is the lesbian side. Believe me, we've been exposed to it, and we sometimes even identify with it, but at the end of the day it's hard to sympathize with the people who are often our oppressors.

That's the cutest thing I've seen all week. They're buddies!
