I kind of feel like they had to put her death in the middle of the episode. If the episode had ended with her dying I would have considered ending my viewership of GOT. That was an incredibly tough scene to watch and I needed something even a little more upbeat after that.
It’s the whole “mother instinct” thing. I had issues with it too. And you KNEW she was screwed when she said goodbye to her kids in the boat.

Almost Human suffered from poor marketing, a delayed premiere date and Fox airing the episodes out of order. The adventures of John and Dorian were only just beginning!
