I think you can add CDPR to the listed of trusted devs. By all accounts they are a classy company that really cares about their consumers and fans.

Of course this comes out while I’ll be in full OW binge mode. Looks like FO4 is going to be waiting a bit longer before I get to it. I almost started a NG+ the other day, I’m glad I didn’t or it’d be another year before I touch my back log.

Hence the name for trench coats came from. It was used by almost all sides as a coat/rain cover, the back had a cape-like flap that you could pull up over your head.

I agree that it isn’t going to attract the CS crowd, but CS is pretty hardcore. I like FPS a lot and I’m abysmal at it. I’d say OW falls somewhere above CoD and right around BF.

I would disagree. The ceiling for some of the heroes is staggering. Playing against a good Genji or Tracer is hell. A Bastion with a good team around him is unstoppable. I’m excited to see all of the videos and, hopefully, competitions to see what people can do given some more playing time.

It looks to me like Gaustad’s check was minimal, there doesn’t seem to be much of a reaction to the check in Pavelski’s body other than continuing into Weber then into Rinne. Then Pavelski lays on him as he bats the puck in the net. That’s a no-goal for sure. I think if he tries to get up and another player puts the

Several of my friends text in this way. It drives me insane.

Looks kind of cool, but I had to stop watching when it went to space. There’s no freakin sound in open space. There’s nothing for it to propagate through. Why do some games respect this property of physics and others just conveniently forget?

You think lowering the damage output of enemies and increasing the player’s is difficult to code? I really doubt that. It’s most likely a numerical value that can be tweaked as needed.

I’m spending the weekend with some college friends. I know we’re playing some Rocket League, maybe some Brawlhalla, Risk of Rain, other couch co-op stuff.

I mean, it is their fault the game isn’t easier, they are the devs, but they certainly do not have to make it easy. Like some others have said, I don’t see the harm in adding a difficulty slider.

I got it for free with my GPU and I really like it. The first few weeks were great, and then people started cheating and it ruined the experience.

Have you seen the pictures of people’s controllers after playing a FromSoftware game? I play plenty of online multiplayer games and play most single player games on the hardest difficulty. It clearly isn’t a personal problem of mine to be frustrated by a DS game.

Rainbow 6: Siege has been plagued by cheaters for months now, don’t expect too much in the way of relief guys and gals. :(

I would really love it if Bloodborne and DS had an easy mode. It doesn’t have to be a walk in the park, but less punishing for those of us that are impatient and hate losing progress.

Not quite right, but I’ve never heard of anyone getting burned on the site and the moderators do a pretty good job of dealing with problems.

I do the same thing. I try and have one big game at a time with FPSs and MOBAs thrown in. My current combo is Life is Strange, Smite, HotS, and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. Overwatch will soon be joining in as well and it will be FO4 after I finish LoS.

You said they were the only form of art where the consumer dictated to the creator, and now your moving the goal posts. Either way, I disagree that video games wouldn’t fall into that category.

Commissioned art is dictated by the commissioner, no? Games are definitely not the only form of art where the consumer dictates to the creator. Traditional art (some), tattoos, digital art, hell, even programming and design layouts if you want to go that far, are all dictated by the consumer.

You should check out GoG Galaxy as an alternative to Steam. As for pre-ordering games; why the hell would anyone do that on PC except to pre-load a day or two before? It’s a digital game, there aren’t limited copies.
